Opening Night

Each one of us showed up to the opening on Mother's Day of all days. I am so thrilled at how the books turned (are turning) out. The seven books all together are so lively. I hope you all came to enjoy this project. We can finish it off after the show. Just a couple entries left to do. Thank you all for participating. I am so glad to meet you all and know you.

Anita's Entry into Paula's Book

I had a delightful time visiting with Anita today. We sat under a flowering tree facing the broad Minnehaha Avenue. I learned that her father is James White, a memorable poetry instructor of mine during my early years at art school.

Art is a social activity. Please visit this blog and comment. The Jewish guilt is free. Wait, it wouldn't be guilt then, would it? Comments.

Anita's Entry into Marty's Book

Anita, thank you so much. I love the sweet whimsy of your drawings. I love the color, especially amidst all of the black & white in this group.

This image by Vic for my book is a story of romance and serendipity. Please ask her about it.

Paula's Book

Perky Paula, I hope that you like this.

David's & Anita's Books

It was a treat to meet you two again. I hope that you enjoy these drawings. Next week Friday, our work is due to the JCC. I will get hold of everyone and collect the books, finished or not. They should make a very nice display in the gallery. This kind of project almost always seems to be a curiosity to folks.
